Conclave 2005

Reach the Summit, Begin to Climb

Camp Wanocksett, Dublin, NH - June 10-12, 2005

The annual Section NE-1B Conclave will be happening on June 10-12, 2005, at Camp Wanocksett in Dublin, NH. The Conclave is a gathering of the 9 lodges of Section NE-1B for fun and fellowship.

At the Conclave, you'll find many different activities and events to keep you busy from the moment you arrive on Friday evening until you depart on Sunday morning. In the morning, you can take part in training opportunities in many different fields that can help your lodge. These include Brotherhood conversion, the Induction process, service to council, lodge training (yes, a training cell about training.), and the history of OA ceremonies. In addition to these lodge program-based cells, there will also be skill-oriented cells on Leave No Trace and creative outdoor cooking.

In the afternoon, get ready for inter-lodge competitions ranging from ceremonies and dance to volleyball and a pinewood derby. Also, cheer on your lodge leaders as they take part in the Second Annual Lodge Chief's vs. Section Leadership Volleyball! If you're feeling a little less competitive, you can always watch these competitions, check out the OA Museum, trade patches, and go to the waterfront. This is just a small sample of the many activities in which you can participate. No Arrowmen should be bored with so much going on at the conclave.

This year, Grand Monadnock Lodge will be acting as the Service Lodge, and they intend to make this Conclave memorable. Keep checking www.ne1b.org for more information.
