Section/Lodge Leadership

The Section NE-1B Council of Chiefs is made up of the section chief, vice-chief, secretary, the immediate past section chief, and one youth delegate from each council. Below is a list of the Current Section Officers and Advisers, as well as the Lodge Chiefs of NE-1B.

Section Officers

Section Vice Chief: Chris Vaughan
  Chris is an Eagle Scout and Brotherhood member of Grand Monadnock Lodge, Nashua Valley Council. Chris is currently the Section Vice Chief. In the past Chris has served as Lodge Vice Chief, OA troop Rep, and committee chairman. Chris Graduated from Gardner High School in his home town of Gardner, MA. Chris currently attends Mount Wachusett Community College where he studies Psychology. Chris is one of the NE-1B’s top Native American dancers. He enjoys hoop dancing, camping and anything scouting related.
Section Secratary: Matthew Cobb
  Matt is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of Abake Mi-Sa-Na-Ki Lodge, Cape Cod and the Islands Council. Matt currently serves as the Section Secretary. In the past Matt has served as the CVC of Publications, Lodge Chief, and chair of Membership and Ceremonies committees. Matt is the general manager of a seasonal bike shop in his home town of Nantucket, MA where he graduated from Nantucket High School. He currently is a student at UMass Dartmouth where he studies Criminal Justice.
Immeadiate Past Section Chief: Adam Hoy
 

Adam is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member of Tulpe Lodge of Annawon Council. He currently serves as the Section NE-1B Chief. Adam has served as the Section NE-1B Secretary, Section ArrowCorps5 Coordinator, Tulpe Lodge Vice Chief of Programs, and Lodge Vice Chief of Communications. Adam participated in ArrowCorps5 at the George Washington and Jefferson site. Adam also attended the 2007 NCLS at Indiana University, the 2005 National Jamboree and the 2009 NOAC. Adam is a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School. He currently attends Georgetown University where he is pursuing degrees in Chemistry and Physics.

Section Staff Adviser: Jonathan Widmark
  Jonathan is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Member of Abnaki Lodge, Narragansett Council. From Dover, NH, Jonathan currently serves as both the Section and Lodge Staff Adviser as well as a Development Director for the Council. Jonathan attended the 2007 NCLS in Indiana, the 1997 National Jamboree and was on Regional Seabadge Staff. Jonathon attended Hobart College where he studied History and played tennis.

Abake Mi-Sa-Na-Ki Chief: Kenneth Hildebrand
  Kenneth is an Eagle Scout and a Brotherhood Member of Abake Mi-Sa-Na-Ki Lodge of the Cape Cod & Islands Council. He is currently serving as Lodge Chief and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster of his troop. Kenneth previously served as his lodge’s Treasurer, long term Acting Secretary, and Communications Committee Chairman. He enjoys mountain biking, photography, as well as spending time at Camp Greenough.
