The date for the first COC of the new NE-1B has been set. August 17, 2008 at 2pm will be the start of the planning for Conclave 2009. We will also be having a walkthrough by the host lodge (Pachachaug Lodge) at Treasure Valley during the COC to view the camp. Directions can be found below.
This unorthodoxly early date has been selected for a number of reasons, the most important being the necessity to fill the position of Section Secretary. The idea is to be able to have this COC replace the typical fall COC, not add to it. Therefore we will be including a full COC agenda, a walkthrough, and the Secretary election.
If there are any Arrowmen in your lodge (including yourself) interested in running for Section Secretary, please make sure you have a letter of permission signed by your Scout Executive and ready to be submitted to Branden Morris on the day of the election. Lodge Chiefs, please pass along this information to your lodges.
The Key Three, plus an additional two youth are invited to the COC, so please plan accordingly.
