Section Update

These past few months have been busy for the Section. In December, our Chief Greg Burke went to the National Council of Chiefs in Texas. There, he was appointed to help lead a National Committee in rewriting the LLD program. Congratulations to Greg on his new position and responsibilities.
Further, the Section has been busy planning Conclave 2010. Once again, Conclave promises to be a great experience for all attendees. If you are interested in attending, contact your Lodge for information about joining their contingent.
Hello From NOAC

Hello from Indiana! It is the end of the second day of NOAC, and the Section is well represented here. Five of the six Lodges brought contingents to this national event, as well as our famous spirit.
For those present, it should be noted that the Section is going to be holding its traditional gathering soon. Information about the time and location will be sent out to Lodge Chiefs or the designees as it becomes available. We look forward to seeing you at the gathering, and around at NOAC!
Conclave, 2009

Conclave 2009 is upon us and the weekend looks to be perfect! The Conclave Team has put together another phenomenal program for this year. We look forward to seeing you at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation (394 Pleasantdale Road Rutland, MA 01543)!
May Council of Chiefs

The May Council of Chiefs will be held on May 17th starting at 2:00 p.m. We will be meeting at Bass Pro Shop in Foxboro, MA (1 Bass Pro Drive Foxboro, MA 02035).
Council of Chiefs Meeting

The location and time of the next COC has been finalized. The COC will be held on January 10th starting at 10A.M. We will meet at the Nashua Valley Council Service Center (1980 Lunenburg Road Lancaster, MA 01523).

2009 Section Secretary Elected

At the beginning of the first COC of the year, an election was held to fill the position of Section Secretary. The secretary elected at the 2008 Conclave was from Allogogan Lodge, which has since become part of the new Section NE-2.
During the meeting, Adam Hoy from Tulpe Lodge was elected to fill the position of Section Secretary for the 2009 Year.
